GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing visually compelling and impactful graphics for a wide range of event-related projects, including event branding, digital assets, signage and more. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales, design, and production teams to develop and execute visually engaging and impactful graphic designs for a variety of event projects, including print materials, digital assets, signage, and branding.

  • Interpret client briefs and translate their vision and requirements into creative design concepts that align with their brand identity and event objectives.

  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines for both client and in-house projects, while also pushing creative boundaries and delivering fresh ideas.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work within budget constraints.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging design techniques, and software tools to continuously improve and expand your skillset.

  • Prepare design files for print and digital production, ensuring all elements are optimized for the chosen output format and adhere to production specifications.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams throughout the design process, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the overall creative process, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment within the team.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design, preferably within the events industry or a related field. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including print and digital objects.

  • Computer savvy – Expertise in industry-standard design software, such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.

  • Creative - Strong artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail, color, composition, and aesthetics.

  • Artistic – Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for color, composition and layout. 

  • Organized – Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.  

  • Good communicator – Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationales to clients and internal teams.  

  • Flexible – A creative and flexible mindset, with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and client preferences. 

  • Team Player - A collaborative and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
