FABRICATION MANAGER

The Fabrication Manager at BUZZ will oversee all aspects of our fabrication department, managing Party Bee team members, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely and high-quality production of event installations and props.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations in the fabrication department, ensuring the accurate and efficient production of event installations and props.

  • Support the Logistics Director in planning and implementing comprehensive strategies for event fabrication, ensuring all projects align with the event concepts and are executed within given deadlines and budget constraints.

  • Manage Party Bee team members in the fabrication department, fostering a collaborative environment and offering guidance, training, and support.

  • Coordinate closely with the Design Center department, turning conceptual designs into tangible, high-quality props and installations for events.

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely procurement of materials and smooth coordination.

  • Collaborate with any applicable BUZZ team members to ensure seamless integration of fabrication planning into the overall event execution process.

  • Help maintain fabrication processes and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement efforts and enhancing overall efficiency.

  • Assist in compliance monitoring with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry best practices related to event fabrication and safety.

  • Support in preparing fabrication budgets, financial reports, and forecasts, maintaining cost-effective operations.

  • Oversee the maintenance and inventory management of all fabrication equipment and assets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience – A minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication, event production, or a related field, with proven managerial experience. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Leadership – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to lead and inspire a team.

  • Problem Solver – A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Technical Skills - Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc., as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Organized - Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Flexible – A willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, including working irregular hours as dictated by project deliverables and deadlines
