The Event Manager at BUZZ is an integral part of the Event and Design Center Team, playing a vital role in event planning and management and client relations. As a leader, the Event Manager takes ownership of the events and ensures the team works in harmony to deliver high-quality event experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and execution of events from concept to completion. Ensure all elements of events, such as Production Breakdown (PB) and Run of Event (ROE), are in order and all preparations are made on time.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their vision for the event is realized.

• Act as the primary liaison for all vendors. Manage ordering, reviewing, and approving documents, ensuring all vendor deliverables meet BUZZ's standards.

• Lead and mentor the Event Coordinators. Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team to meet the objectives of the event.

• Act as the central point of communication, coordinating between clients, hotel and venue contacts, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure all relevant information is communicated in a timely and effective manner.

• Facilitate pre and post-operational meetings, ensuring every member of the team is on the same page and addressing any issues or queries that arise.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the event industry, with a proven track record of managing successful events. A college degree is preferred.

• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products and project management software.

• Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.

• Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and devise solutions in advance.

• Flexibility: Able to adapt to changing circumstances and make quick decisions when needed. Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

• Team Player: The role involves extensive collaboration with employees, clients, and vendors. Understanding everyone’s role and effectively coordinating their efforts is crucial for success.
